We are a tabletop game shop dedicated to providing a fun and engaging environment for gamers of all ages. We specialize in board games, card games, role-playing games, and more. Our shop is a community hub where gamers can come together to play, learn, and enjoy their favorite games.
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about tabletop games and have experience in event planning and coordination. This role involves scheduling game demos, tournaments, and leagues, as well as identifying and participating in local community events to promote our shop.
The schedule is flexible when no events are in progress.

Must Have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Education or certification in event planning is a plus
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities
Event Planning and Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate game demos, tournaments, and leagues.
- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, participant registration, and prize distribution.
- Ensure all events run smoothly and provide a positive experience for participants.
- Ensure the shop remains compliant with partner programs by meeting event requirements.
Community Engagement
- Research and identify local community events that the store can sponsor or participate in.
- Represent the shop at community events, promoting our products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with local gaming groups, schools, and other relevant organizations.
Marketing and Promotion
- Create and distribute promotional materials for events, including flyers, social media posts, and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop event-related content and campaigns.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to event participants, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Gather feedback from participants to improve future events.
Remote Work
- When not on-site for events, coordinate event planning and community engagement activities remotely.
- Utilize digital tools and platforms to manage event logistics and communication.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the shop's team to ensure all events are well-coordinated and aligned with the shop's goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members to share updates, address concerns, and coordinate efforts.
